Reinstalling or Transferring Your Account

If SyncWeb is installed on your system and not working properly or if it is installed and you are switching to a new computer and wish to transfer your data, please use the following instructions.

You will need your account UserID / Password and the following instructions:
(Click here, if you have lost your account details)

  1. Uninstall NovaNet-Web from your current system, or old computer.
    1. Go to the system Control Panel
    2. Choose Add/Remove Programs
    3. Select NovaNet-Web
    4. Select Change/Remove or Automatic
    5. Select "Remove All" files when prompted

  2. Log in to your SyncWeb account. Download the software installer under the Downloads section.

  3. Run the software installer and follow the prompts to install the software.

  4. Upon successful installation, start the application and walk through the "Getting Started Wizard". Once complete, you can access your previously stored data.

  5. If you are transfering the account to a new PC, all files stored by the previous PC must be removed before backups can take place from the new PC. Please follow the instructions for removing files from the backup server.
